Puppy groom at Honey Paws focuses on introducing your puppy to the grooming process while they are still young.

This appointment focuses on building trust and confidence rather than achieving a full haircut. Everything is carried out slowly and calmly to ensure your puppy feels secure and supported.

The aim is to make your puppy feel safe and confident, setting them up for a lifetime of stress-free grooming.

Your puppy’s first visit to Honey Paws is all about positive exposure and gentle handling.

  • Warm bath using a mild, puppy-safe shampoo

  • Gentle towel and blow dry introduction

  • Light brush through

  • Introduction to nail trimming

  • Gentle ear clean

  • Hygiene tidy if appropriate


Each step is adapted to suit your puppy’s temperament, with plenty of reassurance and breaks if needed.

What to expect on the day

The first appointment may take slightly longer to allow your puppy time to settle and explore the environment. Grooming at Honey Paws is carried out on a one-to-one basis to create a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Owners are usually asked to leave during the session so puppies can focus and adjust independently, which often helps them relax more quickly.

We prefer WhatsApp as you can easily share a recent pic of your dog, and make additional bookings easily. But you can also use email or give us a call.

Discuss available times

We'll give you some options that suit your schedule and estimate the price. Payments can be made preferably by Cash, Bank Transfer, alternatively by Contactless upon collection of your pet.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a booking deposit for future appointments.

One-time registration

Use our booking form to register your dog, vet, and personal details. Subsequent bookings can be made quickly using WhatsApp once registered.
